Katee Kross - Guitar/Ukulele Tutor 

"I have been teaching at the Bishopbriggs School of music for 7 years. I love being able to support my students throughout their musical journey and see them grow as musicians. 

I come from a very musical family so have been playing guitar and singing for what seemed like my whole life and I wouldn't want it any other way. Outside of the BSM I am what's considered a full time singer songwriter and have just released my fourth studio album 'Show Your Hand'. Which was given a 5 star review from one of Europe's leading country magazines 'Maverick'.

 

During my singer songwriters career I have had the huge honour of working with many inspiring musicians like Seasick Steve, Ferris & Sylvester, Whispering Bob Harris, Dougie Maclean, Barbra Dickson and Wildwood Kin. I have also been extremely lucky to have played in venues like Wembley Arena London and Kelvingrove Bandstand Glasgow. Having this sort of hands on experience has really benefited my students as I am able to not only support them through our music curriculum but also be able to offer advice when it comes to playing live.
